Description

We are looking for a Senior/Medior Business Analyst for an exciting, long term project at our Client. You will be working in a team of highly experienced professionals in a state-of-the-art environment.

Work location: Den Haag, The Netherlands.
Starting ASAP. 40 hours per week.
Excellent daily rate.

The organisation has reached a point where projects are transitioning from waterfall to agile, so experience of both is preferred. It is also important to recognise that there is a need to be flexible during this period of transition. The ideal candidate will contribute to this transition.

The successful candidate might initially be assigned to support a senior Business Analyst and carry out work under close direction. This may be analysis of existing information, review of test outcomes and manage actions, or similar. This will provide them with the opportunity to quickly gain an understanding of complex business processes and prepare them for a role where they will work as a Business Analyst.

Key responsibilities

  • Business Analysis activities in an agile project.
  • Working closely with Product Owners to help them to articulate requirements in standard products (including User Stories and Acceptance Criteria).
  • Ensuring that products meet the needs of project colleagues through close collaboration
  • Ensuring that business requirements are feasible, and that they comply with the wider technology strategy

Key skills and experience

  • Able to work in a large programme with complex processes and inter-dependencies
  • Experience of working with stakeholders are based in multiple locations
  • Experience of working with stakeholders from a range of backgrounds and cultures
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Able to articulate requirements in a structured way, following guidance and direction
  • Able to distinguish between a requirement and a solution, and help stakeholders to identify requirements
  • Translate the technical requirements into UML, Process Flow Components, Use Cases, User Stories, and Software Requirements Specifications and communicate the same to the technical team
  • Strong experience and/or knowledge about software methodologies like Agile, Waterfall and Iterative development.
  • Good knowledge/experience with BPMN and supporting tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of the SDLC process
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • At least a Bachelor's degree with a technology background (IT, Computer Science, Mathematics or related)

Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in complex IT projects. He / She must have experience of initiation of work through to delivery to the live services.

Please note: Previous EPO experience is a big plus!
